Sick

Am sick today... actually has been sick over the past few days... tahan till yesterday nite then go see doctor, after finishing the deadline for keying marks into the MOE system... wanted to wait til next day (i.e. today morning) then see doctor, but cannot tahan... so didn't go school's symposium... Slept thru about 10 hours last night, occasions wake ups.. and slept thru' most of today too... sianz... cannot join family for dinner outside... sigh..

Was surfing on the net when suddenly feel like checking out my ridiculously low-price Astro Boy figure which I bought recently... And realised that there are 2 versions of this line of toy...

So is mine a bootleg?? But judging from the material & quality, it doesn't seem so... perhaps is the different packagings for different regions... Anyway, online acution is selling my packaging type at US$12.99 (Buy-It-Now Price) + US$11.99 (Shipping to S'pore) = US$24.98. The other packaging is selling at £25.00... Mine? SGD 3.00 ... Wahahahahahahhaa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Final news, the CGI movie of Astro Boy is scheduled for released in 2009!!!!

My HP mini 2133 Is Here !!!!!!

Yeah! Yeah! My HP mini 2133 is here finally!!!!! Free delivery + $30 voucher, all before the 11 Aug expected date!!! Huat ah!!! And yes, you've got it right, I am blogging with this new mini notebook, will post pics later... Nice day today, got up in the morning to have breakfast with my 2 folks, then go shopping at Parkway Parade, got myself some cheap toys and others...

Then, in the afternoon, the 2133 came!!! Then I realised that I have forgotten to zap a copy of my IC... frantically search for a scanned copy to print.. luckily, the poor delivery man got 1 more delivery in the same block... so buy me some time... then heng ah, found some old copies of my old IC...decide to use one & yeap, things went smoothly... Well, not really, cos when I booted up the 2133, the 1st thing I realised was.... a bright pixel!!!!! ....sigh for 1 sec, then heck care lah, since its free, and the dot is at the corner, so bo chap! Can use can already!!!!! hahahaha....

Oh, by the way, with reference to my earlier post, this is what I mean by "kinda sad"... to see my efforts to be unnoticed (the inside candies are only what they care about).... Enjoy the pic...

Anyway, its a fairly good break for me this weekend... deliberately not going back to sch on Mon, knowing that Tues is the kids' deadline... why? Because I am mean???? haha... say anything you want, I just want to make sure I spent some time with my family folks, not every second of my time I must give to school... I mean, what kind of son am I if I can be taking care of other father & mothers' children, when my 2 old folks are alone in the house most of the time?.... Hence, no regret for this decision...

Oh, and later tomorrow (Sunday) afternoon, my HP mini notebook will come!!!!!! Looking forward....

Tomm is the last day of recall manning (99.999999999% sure not activate liao), 2nd last session of RT, and 5th last day before kids' project submission.... arrrgggh.. so many things.... and they have to arrange so many invigilation periods, eat up my free time, cannot mark my papers coming in tomm... knn... these kids still take things slowly... sigh... just let them "die" (as in the exam) can?????????.... sigh... in the end I suffer.... anyway, bought some candies for the kids... kinda sad when see how they just ripped out the packet & throw it away... now i can better apppreciate packings... which I already am... but cannot deny some are happy to receive the candies... wah, took me time to buy & pack one leh.... aiyah, nevermind, lah, let them happy a bit... hope they read the small little card inside too... personalised one somemore...
