Not sure why I prepare and eat this when I can just go down to buy a packet of freshly cooked soy-sauce chicken rice at SGD3... anyway...

Maruchan Seimen Noukou Toro Tonkotsu Instant Ramen マルちゃん 正麺 濃厚とろ豚骨

Purchased in Iroha Mart, should be around SGD4++... The noodles have a very nice and chewy texture, which many instant bowl or up noodles lack in... The broth is quite ok, savoury and quite thick... bite on some sesame seeds, and the spring onions gave the bowl of noodles good appearance... The kelp (???) pieces provided some good chewing texture... Overall a very nice bow of instant ramen...

Myojo Wonton Noodle Chicken Salt Flavour 明星 評判屋 わんたん麺 鶏だし塩味

Bought it at Iroha Mart, can't remember how much it cost.. the portion is a little small... but the noodles are chewy!!!! Very nice. The small wontons are very cute, though can barely taste the "meat filling"... soup is savoury with a bit of sweetness, and topped with lots of spring onions and egg bits... Nice...

金磨坊 : 鱼豆腐 - 烧烤味 香辣味 Jin Mo Fang : Fish Beancurd ( Tofu ) - Barbeque and Spicy Flavour

Bought from Taobao... costs around SGD11 for a bag of 50 pieces. Can't really differentiate between the 2 flavours, but they both have a very typical taste and smell found in the Mala hotpot... think is the 孜然 or something like that. Quite nice. Will probably buy the Three Squirrels brand to try next time...

Nissin Tokyo Shoyu Instant Ramen Bowl

Not too bad... The noodles are the thicker type and is quite chewy. The soup though is ... is ok,but nothing too special... quite typical Singapore-ish taste for the soup... The noodles are good..

Nissin Chikin Ramen 日清チキンラーメン 日清元祖鸡汁拉面

Bought it at Iroha Mart in Chinatown Point, at a sale price of SGD6.90... Previously tried the small packets of instant noodles sold in Daiso, and they are similar in how it would be prepared: just pour in hot water to the flavoured-noodle cake... Taste is... Though I did tried to watch as many CMs of this instant ramen before preparing it, I think I am too pampered by the modern and recent instant / dried noodles, hence this did not really leave much impact on me... but portion is quite big... I think perhaps cooking on stove for 1 minute maybe might taste better, as most instant noodles I tried... But I can understand how people in 1958 felt when they first encounter this... Salute...
