Free Day Today - Lunch at BBQ Chicken...

My free day today... no lessons today... so go over to Toyota Pandan to service my car, and 顺便 change my old old tires... so today car's bills will be costly... nevermind lah, pamper it a bit lah... Am now in BBQ Chicken, West Coast Plaza outlet... Had the lunch promotion meal, chose the Korean grilled chicken (w/ 2 side dishes : Olive oil rice & coleslaw), complimentary soup-of-the-day (mushroom cream today), 1 scoop of ice-cream & 1 drink... yes, now blogging there...

(1) Mushroom soup (B+) - quite creamy, with slightly bigger-than-usual chunks of mushrooms... can feel the mushroomy flavour... portion is a bit small, but this should be correct: not too much, else will feel too full to eat the main meal....


(2) Korean Grilled Chicken (A) - Overall taste is sweet... meat is indeed flavourful - lives to the name of 24 hours of marinate!!!! Can taste the flavour in the meat too... guess they used sweet onions ... meat is tender, not tough... skin is good, though I remove most to slow down my "pregnancy"... Olive-oil rice is ok... coleslaw is... well... coleslaw... hahaha... not too bad...


(3) Chocolate ice-cream (A-) - sticky gluey chocolate poured over the chocolate ice-cream... Goooooood.... sprinkled coloured-sugar bits shows they are now sloppish over free-bies... I see the sincerity...

(4) Coffee (C+) - hmm... thin... taste like McDonald's type, but smells more fragrance...




Overall : Good, recommend for friends/colleagues makan-gathering...
