MY NEW YEAR RESOLUTIONS / WISHES

(1) Resign from full time teaching in May, rejoin as Contract-Adjunct in school Term 3 on 2/3 load (and 2/3 pay). So people, I will be poor from now on, no money to loan...

(2) Spend more time with my folks, which should be possible with my new job as Contract-Adjunct teacher.

(3) Do faithfully the pysiotheraphy exercises for my ankle ligament and tendon problems to heal as much as possible, hopefully no operation.

(4) Ride (dust-collecting) bicycle every Sunday morning (when my ankle problem solves)

(5) Be happy.

New IT Gadgets - Sumsung Galaxy S, Nikon Coolpix S5100

Did not have time to post... Wow, already started the late-stay for work in the 1st few weeks of school commencement... sigh, MUST get out of this whirlpool... Anyway, bought these 2 new gadgets this month...

Samsung Galaxy S
Still in the midst of getting used to this phone... not sure how smart it is, but has been quite good till now.. and since I am not a gamer or heavy surfer, don't think I will d/l many apps/widgets... Signed on the data plan which comes with free Mobile TV for 2 years, wow... upgraded to Froyo 2.2 from the very start, so don't know it it has any improvements over the 2.1 version... anyway, can use good already... and can surf net better somemore... 4 inch big screen, and very clear and bright due to the Super AMOLED... good... The sales staff made a "mistake" when he gave me a 8GB version when I have paid for the 16GB one.. of course partly my fault since I also did not check until I was taking a break in the foodcourt just above the shop... Manage to went down to change and he apologised immediately and changed... If it is a genuine mistake, then that's a good service standard... And overheard some aunties saying (loudly) something like" Buy Samsung ones, will not go wrong, easiest to use.." hahaha... Think I will not review this phone here, far too many reviews on the net... So do I like it? hahaha... Yes, not bad, not bad indeed...

Nikon Coolpix S5100
New camera just gotten today, since my old one is already physically (the battery cover broken and perm fogging in lens in one corner) & mentally (will sudden on-off by itself when it's mood comes) damaged... Bought this at the Bedok Point Challenger Roadshow.. yeah, freebies include 8GB SDHC card, small tripod, cleaning kit... realised the pictures taken using 12 Megapixel setting will take like forever to upload to my blogs (yes, the above 2 pics are that slow... ) might stick to 8M pixel pictures... Don't think makes much difference to the naked eyes under normal viewing...
