CNY 7th Day Gathering...

Yummy time!!!!! Hahaha.... Most memorable food has to be the 'Ah-Um (Auntie) mee goreng' (bottom niddle of pic) my cousin cooked... Long history... when we (my siblings and I) were young, our auntie (whom have passed away) used to cook this special 'mee goreng' that consists of only potato, egg, onion all fried together with the noodles using tomato ketchup... Simple, but nice... Unforgettable... This is and I think will forever be my siblings and mine one dish we will never forget...

CNY 2013 Reunion Dinner

This year's CNY reunion dinner is different from past year's, as this is the first time we are having out of house... at Imperial Treasure restaurant located in Crowne Plaza Hotel...
Food pics below... But think I might have missed out the starter dish, i.e. Yu Sheng, and as well as some others... best is I cannot remember what are the food already, hahaha...

Shark's Fin soup with cabbage and... can't remember... The shark's fins are the thicker type, so more chewy in texture... overall not bad...

The roast suckling pig has a thick layer of oil beneath the skin... and it taste GOOD!!!! Hahaha... Crispy sin is 1 thing, but the taste is slightly better than that I have eaten before...

Lobster...a fried lobster dish... eh... ok lah, not too bad, but after distributing, each portion size is too little...

The dish of abalone comes with dried oysters and black moss... Normally I don't quite like dried oysters, but this one does not have too strong "sea" taste... Overall rather GOOD!!

Will be very good, if it is without parsley leaves... hahaha...

The red bean cake is quite good! Not too sweet, and very "springy" yet soft to bite off, and it is a cold dish!!!... And the walnut biscuit is also quite tasty, but maybe a little softened already due to 漏风... hahaha...

This is a black sesame seed tang yuan, in red bean soup with 百合, making it very fragrance... very good...
