Trip to Chinatown on Last Sunday

Went to have brunch at the white signboard Chew Kee Soysauce Chicken Noodles... Wanted a change, and also has never eaten this shop's noodles inside the shop...

Taste is actually ok... But feels the meat a little little "not-so-tender" and not absorbed in the flavour... The meat dumplings (in the soup; separate dish) is very home-styled, slightly more types of ingredients than the red signboard's one... if I remember correctly... The sauce taste similar to the red signboard's too, except it is more towards "savoury/saltier" version, whereas the red signboard's is towards the "sweeter" version... Oh, the noodles are SPRINGY!!!

Then went to jalan jalan... and without planning, saw this place... wah, this sight does NOT look like Singapore in any way!!! And I saw the temple in the background...

...Only then I realised this is the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple... so went in and have a walk... wow... I must return to this place again to have a more detail tour, as I only browse the 1st floor and 3rd floor...

New IT Gadget - 7" Tablet w/ 3G SIM slot

Gotten this new "toy" at the Electronics & Lifestyle 2012 @ S'pore Expo... Had wanted to get a cheap tablet with 3G SIM slot, so as not to waste my Starhub 3G mobile SIM card... so bought this at $240, with the free keyboard-cover... Hmmm... to be frank, the performance is not good... cranky touch screen (either overly sensitive or insensitive, etc... ), and camera does not even seem to what a 2M-pixel one should be... Anyway, think might still need to do some tweaking before everything runs smooth... Since I got this just for simple browsing and such, it doesn't really bother me too much... Oh, the mobile Youtube does not seemed to work no matter how I press on the video to play, until I realize I have to press on the red "HD" button, then it will start to play in non-HD mode, and pressing it again will reload the video in HD mode... 

The 7" tablet (placed inside the keyboard-cover in picture) is running on Android 4.0.4, with 8GB internal space. Not sure how much is it's processor speed nor RAM.... anyway, don't really care now, maybe next time download some apps to check...
