Genting Makan Pics...

Went over to Genting over the last long weekend... and since no pictures of the casino are allowed to be taken, I took the pics of our food... Hahaha...

Day 1...

Breakfast at 鸿运, which is inside the casino... not too bad, except for the char-siew buns have a bit of weird pork-taste... The siew-mai is exceptionally fantastic!!!!!!

Our lunch is at 名人restaurant... Super nice and affordable... especially the roast lamb skewer...

The shop besides the restaurant...

Now Genting is redeveloping...

Dinner at the Kopitiam Food Hall... Eat from the zi-char stall...

And supper is at Old Town... My father claims the hor-fun soup is too sweet, but I felt otherwise... The curry puff is good!!!! Though the fillings have since reduce in amount compared to last time...

Day 2... We had brunch as we had stayed over-time in the casino... Had buffet at the First World Cafe... Very cheap and nice too.. My favourites are the mint-choco cake and apple tart...

Then went over to Speedy DVD shop and saw this statue... Hulk SMASH!!!!!

Can't remember which hotel or place I took this pic at... But think its the "famous" 'nail-design' some talkshows' fengshui masters mentioned...

Dinner is at my favourite place... Bubbles and Bites!!! Absolutely loved the pizza (we ordered the Isle of Capri pizza) and peri-peri wings...

Our supper is at the casino 鸿运... we used to like the roast duck noodles, but the quality has dropped drastically... and the 龟苓膏 has sold out...

Day 3... Breakfast at 好友记 restaurant... Had dim sum again... And the quality seemed to have improved a lot since last time we eaten there!!!! We suspect the siew mai is the same as that in the 鸿运's ...

The new Japanese restaurant besides the KFC outlet... May try next time...

When we left, the bus-coach brought us to a local product shop to but local products...

Overall, a fun trip!!!

My Galaxy Evolution.... 3 Years After...

Yeap, gotten this yesterday at the Singtel launch event at Marina Bay Sands Convention Centre... Samsung Galaxy S5... Cost $688 (sign on to Lite plan)...

The accessories that came with it... very minimum... The charger is most interesting, with a usb cable that can be used by eg. laptops etc, or connect to the a.c. mains-socket adapter to use with a.c. power... The top pin ("fake" ground pin) can be slided in to keep the socket to be more compact...

The camera is popped out by a couple of millimeters, so sad... On my 2nd day morning, I already dropped the phone and scratched the metallic-chromed rim of the camera lens... hahahahaha....

The cover for USB connection is now a typical flap that is quite irritating to use when plugging in the USB head... But can understand the change (compared to Galaxy S) since waterproofing is now considered in the design...

Galaxy S5 box is smaller than Galaxy S box, but....

... Galaxy S5 is so much LARGER than Galaxy S !!!!!!
