Home-cooked Taiwanese dinner by blog owner's parents - Meat Soup Mee Sua ( 肉羹面线 ) and Oyster-Fried ( 蚝煎 ), some time ago. Very nice, except the mee sua soup can be a bit thicker... the meat pieces are coated with flour for the "slimy" feel... mee sua is deep-fried first before cooking... Heard that blog owner also likes and slightly prefers cooking mee sua without deep-frying first... Very delicious, these 2 dishes below!!! ....
Polo-Bun with Butter ( 菠萝油 ) at XingWang Eatery. It has a piece of butter inside, and to make things extra (weird), it has a piece of canned-pineapple ( 黄梨 = 菠萝 ) and smeared with cream... so its is true you can have a lot of stuff in you, but it may not be suitable for you...
Dim Sum in same place... Char Siew buns are not too nice.. too.. too... "neat" taste... Kaya-butter toast not sure how it taste as blog owner did not eat... Har-Kaw and Siew-Mai are not too bad.. but again, the "too neat" taste...
Another friend called Macau Pork Chop Bun is camera shy (actually is blog owner forget to take its picture), he is BIG and TASTY...
Till next time!!!
