Sheng Zu Peanut Candy 聖祖貢糖 in its original flavor at $9.90 for 12 pieces in a box... Very very very nice!!!!! Even my father who was the pickiest food for peanut candy loved this one very much!!! The outer layer about 6 mm is crispy, and once bite into it, the inside fresh peanut bits crumbled to fill your mouth... It is not so sweet compared to the local version, and the freshness of the peanut can be tasted... very nice...
Uncle Shrimp Dried Shrimp Crisp 蝦叔叔 大尾蝦酥 ... 3 packs each of 25 grams cost $16.50 ... Is quite nice!!!! Whole shrimps are given, including the head which we don't really want to eat due to the high cholesterol... The shrimps are supposedly prepared by first marinated in sugar and salt water(??), half-cooked in water, then low-temperature-vacuumed-fried... So the outer is quite crispy, and the inside is floss meat type... The shrimp-flavor is VERY strong, especially if you slowly chew in your mouth... very nice!!!! Note: Picture below is taken after some shrimps are already in our stomach...
